Terms and conditions
The terms for using twoDate, including your account, shared content, responsible use, availability and account deletion.
Last updated: 10 September 2026
1. About twoDate and these terms
twoDate helps two partners save and rate ideas, plan dates and record memories. These terms apply to the app and its associated service. The provider is:
twoScript vof
Osakastraat 10
3047 AK, Rotterdam
Nederland
Chamber of Commerce: 92525989
Send questions about these terms to info@twodate.app. The app store’s terms may also apply to your download. Your statutory consumer rights continue to apply.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use twoDate. Provide accurate account details, use a strong password and keep access to your account and confirmation codes to yourself. Report suspected misuse as soon as possible.
You use your own account and connect to your partner with a personal invitation code. Share the code carefully. You can have at most one active connection at a time. Only connect with the other person’s agreement.
3. Your content
You retain the rights to your own text and photos. You grant the provider only the usage rights needed to store, technically process and display that content to you and your partner within the service. This includes resizing photos and creating thumbnails.
Only add content you are entitled to use and share. Where necessary, obtain permission from people shown in photos or whose data you save. Remember that your partner can see shared content and may save it themselves.
Do not use twoDate for illegal content, intimidation, threats, fraud, infringement of others’ rights or unwanted tracking. Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), related material (CSAM), grooming and sexual extortion are prohibited. Saving or sharing such content in a private space is also prohibited.
4. Responsible use
Do not try to access other people’s accounts, bypass security or disrupt the service. Do not misuse invitation codes, notifications, recovery or deletion routes. Automated extraction or use that burdens the service is not permitted if it harms its operation or others’ rights.
You decide which activities to do and whether a location or activity is suitable and safe. Ideas in twoDate are suggestions. Check current opening hours, costs, availability and safety requirements with the activity provider yourself.
5. Operation and availability
We maintain the app and work to resolve faults. We may carry out maintenance and make changes where needed for operation, safety or development. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Your statutory rights to a conforming digital service and necessary updates remain in place.
Keep your own copies of photos or memories you do not want to lose. Maps, app stores and push services depend in part on other providers.
6. Costs
Any download charges are shown in the app store in advance. This version has no built-in subscriptions or in-app purchases. If paid features are added, we will show the price and terms beforehand. No payment obligation arises without your agreement. You pay your own internet, travel and activity costs.
7. Stopping and deleting your account
You can stop using twoDate and delete your account through your profile or the public deletion page. Signing out or removing the app from your phone does not delete your account.
Account deletion closes the active connection for both partners. Your personal data is erased or replaced, personal ratings are cleared and your uploads become inaccessible before being cleaned up. The current version retains shared text in the closed archive, which a new connection cannot access. Your partner’s account and uploads are not automatically deleted. Read the deletion page and privacy policy for the precise consequences and retention information.
Go to account deletion8. Abuse and measures
Where there are reasonable grounds to suspect serious abuse, illegal content or a safety risk, we may restrict access and investigate or make relevant content inaccessible. We tailor measures to the seriousness of the situation. Where possible and permitted, we explain the reason and offer an opportunity to respond through info@twodate.app.
We prioritise reports of child sexual abuse or exploitation and report confirmed material or danger to the competent authority where required by law. Do not attach such material to a report.
9. Responsibility and complaints
We are responsible for our service under applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability for intent or deliberate recklessness, or rights that cannot lawfully be restricted. You remain responsible for the content you add and the activities you undertake.
If you have a complaint, email info@twodate.app with a description of the problem and your desired resolution. We will consider it and provide a substantive response. This does not limit your right to approach a competent court or another competent authority.
10. Changes and applicable law
If the service, law or business operations change, we may amend these terms. We will give timely notice of material changes and when they apply. Where required by law, we will seek your agreement or offer the option to end the service.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you retain the protection of mandatory consumer law that applies to you. Disputes may be brought before the court that has jurisdiction under the law.
